New Adventures with Old Things

This weekend I did something I've never done before. I went antiquing! It's not something I've ever been interested in, but boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise. There was so much Shabby Chic decor I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!

I could have wandered around the antique mall for hours, but after a while Hubby started to get anxious and pulled me toward the door. (In his defense, we were nearing lunch time and his belly was grumbling :)

Next time I will definitely bring my camera so I can take pictures of all the wonderful things I saw. Like the old Post Office boxes (with keys!), cute sewing tables, the painting of an old ship teetering on the ocean waves... So much inspiration in one place! (And this was in real life and not on Pinterest!)

Now I find myself suggesting we go on little road trips so I can check out all the antique stores along the way!
